Do you want to venture further off the beaten path with your Mercedes ML and – more importantly – return unharmed? Then solid underbody protection is essential.

Robust Armor for Demanding Use

This protection has been specially developed to effectively secure the front end of the W164 during off-road driving:

• Comprehensive Security: The plate reliably shields the lower area of the radiator, the oil pan, and the front axle differential.

• Massive Construction: Made from 3 mm thick steel sheet, precisely cut by CNC laser and formed on CNC press brakes.

• Maximum Rigidity: The plate is folded 90 degrees at the edges and features additional cross-embossments. This construction makes the protection extremely resistant to deformation from impacts from below.

• Durable Finish: All parts are sandblasted and finished with a double powder coating in Matte Black (RAL 9005).

System Integration & Installation

Installation is precisely matched to the structure of the ML W164 and our RTECH steel bumper:

• Stable 8-Point Fastening: Installation is done via a total of 8 screws. 4 screws connect the front directly to the RTECH steel bumper, while the remaining 4 screws are screwed into the factory-installed openings on the frame.

• Plug & Play: No drilling or cutting is required on the vehicle.

• Complete Set: All necessary fastening parts (screws, washers, nuts) and instructions are included in the scope of delivery.

Important Notes

• Compatibility: This underbody protection is optimized for installation in conjunction with an RTECH steel bumper.

• Production Time: If the product is not in stock, we will manufacture it to order – in this case, the delivery time is approx. 8 weeks.

• The winch bumper and the underbody protection for the transmission are not included in the scope of delivery.
• The underbody protection does not fit with the original bumper. Underbody protection for vehicles with the original bumper is available in our shop.
