The MorE 4x4 Steel Gearbox Skid Plate for the Ford Ranger Raptor (model series from 2023 / Next-Gen) provides high-strength protection for one of the most important and expensive mechanical components of your performance pickup. While the front part is usually the focus, the gearbox area in the middle of the vehicle is subjected to extreme stress in rough terrain or during high-speed off-road driving.

The Ranger Raptor is built for tough off-road use ex works. However, those who drive it uncompromisingly over rocky trails, through deep ruts, over crests or in hard forest use expose the gearbox center to great risks. When driving over blocked paths, hard embankment edges or massive tree stumps, this area is unprotected. If the pickup hits hard here, there is a risk of cracks in the gearbox housing, deformation of the mounts and fatal oil loss - which leads to extremely expensive consequential damage to the automatic control unit.

This vehicle-specific underbody protection perfectly closes this security gap. The smooth surface also ensures that the vehicle glides over obstacles in an emergency, instead of getting stuck. Thanks to the well-thought-out design, this skid plate can be mounted completely independently and separately, without necessarily having to install the remaining plates of the underbody system (such as the front engine or radiator protection).

🛠️ Important note on variant selection (engine type): Please select the appropriate engine type for your Ranger Raptor in the selection menu above. The plates differ in their geometry and mounting points for the respective gearbox:

• 3.0L V6 EcoBoost (petrol)

• 2.0L Bi-Turbo (diesel)

The scope of delivery of this article includes exclusively the main gearbox skid plate. The other skid plates (for radiator, engine or transfer case) are not included in the scope of delivery, but can be purchased separately in our shop.
